Some things I would like to make.

I am constantly running across patterns and pictures of crochet projects I want to make.  The problem is I usually don't have enough time to just sit down and create things for fun anymore.  When I do find some free time maybe during the holiday break I want to make this.

Black Friday For My Etsy Shop

I decided to hold a Black Friday Event for my Etsy shop.  I decided the best thing for me would be to offer free shipping to all the Ready to Ship items in my store.  This way I won't be killing myself trying to get a lot of custom orders done right before Christmas.  Custom orders will still be available just not part of the Black Friday event.   For an item to have free shipping it must say Ready To Ship in the title of the listing, and no I didn't hike all my prices up just for this.  Here are some of the items that will be available.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/darcyannie

What a Cutie!

Believe it or not Carly has gotten tired of being the model for all my crochet items.   I had to pay her to do it today.  She was ok with receiving a couple of dollars and I was happy to get some pics.  I am not the best photographer by any means but Carly always looks cute.

Happy Halloween!

Once again it was a fun and sugar filled Halloween.  The kids were very happy with their costumes and consumed way too much candy.  The only bad thing is that Hayden ran a fever all night and ended up missing school today.  He was bummed about missing the festivities at school but when your too sick you just know it.  He was able to go trick or treating, but about one hour into it he was exhausted.  He quickly came home and went right to sleep.  Poor kid.  Its hard to see them be sick at all, but especially on a holiday.

Fall Pumpkin Party

My sister in law Carolina invited us all over on Saturday to carve pumpkins.  All of the husbands were out of town camping so it was a perfect day for the girls and the kids to get together and have some fun.  Carolina is such an amazing hostess.  She is a wonderful cook and always makes everything so nice.  The kids had a blast and of course I had to sneak in some hat modeling from Shandail while I had a chance.  I have loved Fall this year.  Maybe because I have felt like we have actually had a long enough one to enjoy.

This weekend was so uplifting and so fun.  Conference was amazing.  It was so wondering to hear from our amazing Prophet and apostles.  It really puts everything into perspective again and raises my spirits.  Sunday Steve family and all us decided to go to Hobble Creek to have a picnic and enjoy the leaves.  It was beautiful.  We had a yummy picnic and everyone played horseshoes and enjoyed each others company.  The kids had fun catching fuzzy caterpillars and finding cool rocks in the river.  I stayed away from the caterpillars though because they absolutely gross me out.  I love the Utah Mountains and it was such a fun ending to a great weekend.
